Today we had a garage sale at the Doolittle house. God blessed me in so many ways! I am thankful for all the help I received from my dad, mom, aunt, and friend Roxanne. I could not have done it without them!
Big Praises:
1. We raised $500 for my internship. (exactly the amount that I was hoping to raise!!).
2. Five families from Hill Country Bible Church donated many items.
3. My dad's and mom's schools, where they teach, donated items.
4. My friend donated delicious coffee and muffins to sell.
5. The left-over items were donated to Salvation Army (two carloads of stuff).
6. God answered prayers and gave me strength the whole time.
I am so thankful for everyone's generosity and kindness. It was beautiful to see God provide today, He is so faithful!
God has been providing for me as I raise support for the summer! So many people: my friends, my family, and my church in Arlington have decided to support me financially. I feel so grateful for this support, because my goal seems possible with their help. I have less than $1000 left to raise and I know that God will provide. Thank you so much to those of you who have given generously and to those of you who have been praying!
I will be leaving June 3rd, which is in 17 days!! Right now, I am in Austin hanging out with my mom and dad. It is nice to have this time with them before I go. I finished all my classes at UT Arlington and will start nursing school in the fall. I am excited to get into the clinicals and hands-on work of nursing!
Please pray for me as I prepare to leave for the DR:
1. For a humble heart willing to serve God.
2. For God to provide the rest of the support that I need.
3. That God would be glorified in all that happens this summer.
